I'm glad I came across this piece, the story is beautiful and the imagery so raw I felt transported to and through those changing times. I think history should be shown like this.

Thank you. I’ve been thinking about how history is remembered. Not as dates or events, but as something that settles into objects — metal, clay, fabric — and into the body, often without being named.
